Malala Yousafzai — Nobel Prize-winning activist and bright light in the darkness of 2017 Twitter — is officially going to college.

On Thursday morning, the recent high school graduate announced on Twitter that she would be attending Oxford University to study philosophy, politics, and economics.

The 20 year old, who began tweeting in July, shared a screenshot of her confirmation status to the university, expressing her excitement and wishing fellow students good luck in the years ahead.

As expected, the news sparked a positive response from followers, many of whom tweeted to congratulate her.

Since graduating from high school this year, Malala has been busy fighting for girls around the world to receive education via her organization Girl Power Trip, and preparing for the release of her children’s book, Malala’s Magic Pencil.

We can’t wait to see all Malala accomplishes during her time at Oxford.
