The internet dishes mixed reactions to a bakery replacing baby Jesus with a sausage roll

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, a little sausage roll laid down its sweet… whatever sausage rolls have instead of heads. 

UK bakery chain and national symbol of pride Greggs came under fire recently after they used an image of the baby Jesus replaced with a sausage roll to promote their new advent calendar.

The image caused a certain amount of outrage, and Greggs put out a public apology.

But many Brits don’t seem at all perturbed by the pastry blasphemy. In fact, they enjoy it.
